We are seeking a new colleague for the Frontend Developer position who is proficient in JavaScript to help us build our cloud frontend applications.
What skills and experience are mandatory?
- Proficiency in JavaScript >=ES6 is necessary
- Thorough knowledge of React and most popular React libraries
- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
- Familiarity with consuming REST APIs in frontend applications
- Familiarity with responsive design
- Familiarity with version control tools, ideally Git
- At least 5 years of frontend development
- Experience with state management, ideally React Context Provider / Redux
- Experience with package management (e.g., npm, yarn)
- Advanced English (level B2)
- Enthusiasm for frontend development
What skills and experience are beneficial?
- Experience with Polymer framework and web components is desirable
- Experience with TypeScript is highly desirable
- Experience with frontend testing, ideally Jest with Karma
- Experience with design and implementation of reusable React components
- Knowledge of JavaScript linting tools, such as ES Lint, JS Lint, JS Hint
- Experience with Material UI library
- Experience with some mapping libraries like Google Map API, OpenLayers, MapBox, Leaflet, deck.gl
- Experience with chart or other data visualization (dygraphs, d3, plotly js, or other)
- Experience with GraphQL
- Some understanding of build and release pipelines to cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or other)
- Experience with working in a distributed team and in an Agile methodology
- Ability to self-learn new concepts and technologies on the job
