Legal Counsel (Part-time)

As legal counsel at DHI you will join a team of 4 other lawyers that work with a wide variety of legal aspects very close to the business. You will engage in end-to-end projects and support long term solutions for the purpose of making the world better, greener and safer.



Responsibilities and Challenges
  • Providing advice on all legal aspects relevant to the organization, including Corporate and Commercial matters, Intellectual Property Rights, Data Protection, M&A, Procurement as well as Risk Management, Compliance and Transparency issues.
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contract terms with partners and customers
The Legal Counsel will report to Vice President, Group Legal, Mikkel Esbjerg.


Qualifications
Your professional qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Law or Cand. Merc. Jur. or similar, preferable an attorney-at-law with minimum 3-5 years of working experience from a major law firm or in-house legal department at a large private company
  • Experience with review, drafting and negotiating contract terms. Experience with international contracts paradigms is a plus but not a prerequisite
  • Conceptual understanding of commercial operations processes combined with the sense of detail
  • Proficiency in Danish and English (written and verbally). Proficiency in other languages e.g. French, German or Spanish is a plus but not a prerequisite
  • Actively manage a network of key internal stakeholders as well as external relations (for example, external law firms, advisors, foreign authorities etc.)

Hørsholm, Denmark - north of Copenhagen. Newly establish headquarters from 2019.
