Process Excellence Student Assistant

DHI has a goal of enhancing the impact we have on the world. As part of this journey, we have brought together a highly experienced group of people from across DHI in a new Process Excellence team, who will be dedicated to optimizing how we work across the organization.

What will you be working with? 

We are seeking a student to assist the Process Excellence team in driving and executing various optimization projects. Examples of tasks are: 

• Lead and manage projects from start to finish
• Participate in meetings with high-level stakeholders at DHI
• Gather and process input from various stakeholders globally and develop proposals for new processes, tools, systems etc. 
• Investigate new tools, systems, and best practices from other companies 
• Present findings to team members and managers at different levels 
• Create project charters (sharpen scope, risk evaluation, financial projections, road mapping etc.)
• Developing materials to support implementation of new processes (SOPs, guides, templates etc.) 
• Create communications strategies and content to share the work of the Process Excellence team with the broader DHI organization 

We are looking for a student who

• Is in the 3rd year of their bachelor’s degree or the 1st year of their master’s degree in business, economics and/or engineering 
• Has excellent academic results
• Is proactive and independent
• Is structured, analytical and detail oriented
• Has strong coordination skills
• Can maintain a holistic view while also diving deep into specific topics
• Has great communication skills and is fluent in written and spoken English 
• Has experience from relevant student positions, ideally in consulting
• Wants to make a real difference in the world by helping DHI enable a sustainable future for water
