Water Resources Engineer - Malaysia

The Role

If you are an engineer possessing more than 2 years of professional experiences and with a strong educational background in civil and water quality related engineering, you will be joining a high performing, growing team of technical experts. You will be contributing to the delivery of technically challenging projects, often using novel engineering methods. You will possess outstanding communication skills and work effectively in multilateral project teams involving both interstate and overseas team members. You will have a strong desire to develop your skills in data analysis and numerical modelling and be committed to continuously growing your own technical capabilities to accommodate our client needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrology and hydraulic calculations as needed on variety of water resources related projects.
• Be able to conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, flood modelling, flood management, water balance analysis, water quality assessment, and integrated water management.
• Preparation of reports and presentations.
• Client and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil and/or Water Engineering.
• More than 2 years of professional experience.
• Good communicator, fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge in hydraulics, hydrology and/or water resources with numerical/statistical modelling skills.
• Competent/Experience with MATLAB and/or Python is an advantage.
